The Position

The Opportunity:

We have an opening for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the Physiological Chemistry department in the Dixit lab at Genentech.Projects include the identification and mechanistic characterization of signaling complexes that mediate programmed forms of cell death including apoptosis, necroptosis and pyroptosis.

Who You Are:

  • Team player with fearless attitude to tackle challenging problems in immunological signaling using a combination of biochemistry and/or structural biology.

  • Highly motivated and capable of independent work in a collaborative environment.

  • Candidates should possess a doctoral degree and have a strong background in eitherbiochemistry, structural biology or molecular immunology.

  • Must have atleast one first author paper published or accepted in apeer-reviewed journal.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco California is $92,500 and $98,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
