Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Sales Manager to join our fire business unit. Primary Responsibilities:
- Customers - Align with front line sellers and support them in their customer relationships and assist in securing business, representing the Pavion brand and advocate for customers when needs arrive. Customers are your TOP priority in this role above all other duties
- Secured Order Volume - Meet or Exceed secured order volume for business units in scope. Drive the cross sell program as well as sales process, pipeline management and get directly involved in the pursuit of strategic projects and accounts
- Pipeline - Manage the creation of new pipeline through new logo capture as well as drive the Pavion account management process for top accounts. Drive the adoption of the CRM platform as part of the Pavion business integration process and plan. Ensure pipeline is accurate and current
- Performance - Drive sales performance of sellers by leveraging sales enablement tools, lead campaigns, new and existing offerings, and subscription models for both installation and service sales. When necessary apply Pavion Sales Improvement process to coach talent to acceptable levels of success
How you will Do it:
- Organizational Agility - Operate across Pavion leadership navigating the organization with the ultimate goal of supporting customer needs. Bring energy and partnership attitude and support the Pavion strategies starting with customer needs and support
- Leverage Resources - From the CRM platform currently rolling out, new offerings, marketing lead programs and cross selling - you will ensure the sales teams are maximizing the enablement investments for their success
- Planning - Leverage market data, experiential knowledge of markets, and competitive landscape to align market coverage and sales staffing for growth. Work with the West Sales Director for new areas of growth and bringing new offerings to the sales team that differentiate Pavion
- People - Lead the people in your function with servant leadership skills to unlock their potential to exceed in their current and future roles. Ensure talent is supported and upgraded where needed with succession plans for sales leader roles. Ensure development plans and annual goal setting aligns with Pavion strategies as well as individual career aspirations
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of leading sellers and leaders of sellers
- Knowledge of NYC and Long Island Fire Codes
- Ability to attract and retain top sales talent
- Track record of growth and business performance
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven history of sales success identifying and developing (hunting) new business
- NICENT Certification opportunities as well as finding and retaining key sales talent
- Business acumen to stay ahead of revenue needs and ensure sales meets or exceeds commitments to deliver profitability results.
- Experience building network of business relationships to create sales opportunities
- Excellent problem-solving and meeting facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel as needed
- Must be able to work at a computer/keyboard
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time
