System Drives Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for conversion of supply plan into a master production schedule which can be executed by Motion System Drives (MOSD) Production Assembly team located in New Berlin, WI.
The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite
This role is contributing to the Motion System Drives division in New Berlin, WI area.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule while successfully achieving predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of master plan accuracy.
*Manage load levelling, bottleneck scheduling and utilize theory of constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling. Analyze production floor status through input/output control reporting.
*Collaborate cross functionally with customer service to provide appropriate delivery dates, and material planners to convert the Supply Plan into a master production schedule.
*Maintains planning parameters in ERP and planning systems utilizing best practice sharing of inputs across the global organization.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience.
  • Progressive experience with scheduling within SAP (preferred).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-cultural and international environment with standard operating procedures.
  • Proactivity, teamwork skills, continuous improvement mindset, result orientation and ability to work under pressure.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
