Position Summary The Center for Radiological Research is seeking a technician to work with scientists studying the health hazards and antimicrobial efficacy of ultraviolet light. The Technician will work with 2D and 3D cell culture models, viral and bacterial culture and assay techniques, and ultraviolet experimental equipment. They will gain experience in immunohistochemistry, animal handling and husbandry, and ultraviolet exposure techniques. Responsibilities
This will be a team effort requiring excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Maintaining and sharing records with the team is expected, in addition to completing scientific and technical tasks in a timely fashion. The primary work location will be at the Radiological Research Accelerator Facility at the Columbia University Nevis Laboratories in Irvington, NY. Occasional work at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center may be required. Minimum Qualifications
