Job Summary

Implement trainings within specified targeted audiences while developing, delivering and evaluating a range of courses within specified cement sites.

Job Responsibilities

  • Training Implementation & Delivery (70%):

    • Conduct and facilitate virtual instructor-led and face-to-face training on a variety of cement operations technical and soft skills training
    • Recruit and schedule facilitators, experts, and external vendors to deliver training
    • Design training content for interactive virtual training programs.
    • Ensure learning content consistency and delivery across functional areas: Safety, Environmental, Maintenance, Production, Quality, Shipping, Procurement and HR.
    • Create training calendars for assigned cement plant(s) and follow up on training executions
    • Partner with plant functional experts to identify and assess learning gaps as well as future needs on development programs
    • Execute training program communications with participants, managers and local stakeholders


  • Training Logistics (30%):

    • Assist with participant selection processes
    • Collect data and feedback to refine and improve learning and development approach
    • Generate reports for cement plants and evaluate data and metrics



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Education, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in the field of technical learning development/training facilitation
  • 1+ years of Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience
  • Training certifications are a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in manufacturing environment, strongly preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software
  • Strong project management, analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation and training skills - must be able to speak publicly and in front of large groups
  • Proven ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

  • Capability to work extended hours as necessary
  • Ability to work with standard office/computer Equipment
  • Capable of working in an open office environment
  • Travel required with overnight stays (up to 35% per year)

Physical Requirements

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
