Job Summary

Position is responsible for assisting supervisor and other direct reports by preparing reports and correspondence. Other requirements include record maintenance, filing, data consolidation, and communication with various departments. Position has other various responsiblities as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist supervisor by coordinating office services such as personnel, budget preparation, and control, records control, and other special duties as assigned
  • Keeps official human resourcerecords and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials
  • Plans conferences and company functions
  • Prepareand filecorporate documents with government agencies to conform with statutes
  • Coordinates collection and preparation of operating reports such as time and attendance records, terminations, new hires, transfers, budget expenditures, and statistical records of performance data
  • Reviews and answers correspondence
  • Conducts orientation of new employees
  • Directs office services such as maintenance and repair of office machines, ordering of supplies, opens, distributes and stamps incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintains personnel files for the location
  • Compiles, stores, and retrieves management data
  • Processes time records, compiles payroll statistics, and maintains payroll control records
  • Prepares invoices and purchase orders for accounts payable
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years related experience


  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • 3 years of Administrative Support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Detailed oriented

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking

Physical Requirements

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
