Join us as our new Key Account Manager for Monogastrics

This position will focus on securing new business and maintaining current business withkey accounts with regional geography. Products supported could include all those with any of Animal Health portfolio for poultry and swine.

In this position you'll make a difference by:




  • Maintaining existing business with key accounts.



  • Developing new business with strategic target accounts with the geographic area of responsibility.



  • Implementingthe US business unit strategies as it relates to the Novonesisanimal health portfolio.



  • Maintainingin-depth high-level contacts with key end users and influencers, keeping them informed of price trends, new products and applications.



  • Investigateingcustomer complaints and solves routine industry problems on site. This includes, but is not limited to, new product applications, marketing efforts, new facilities, price trends, and key industry personnel.



  • Meetingor exceedingsales budget targets on a year-to-year basis.



  • Providingtimely sales forecasts, reports and information as required.





To succeed, you must hold:




  • Possess good negotiation and follow-up skills.



  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-range goals.



  • Must have technical skills to know the right questions to ask of customers.



  • Must be a self-starter with drive and initiative and work with little supervision.



  • Must have a passion for the food industry.



  • Provides excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers.



  • Possess a working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs.



  • Ability to travel up to 50-60%of working time.



  • These characteristics are normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, food technology or chemistry preferred, and a minimum of five to seven years of sales experience in the feed industry and/or feed additive industry with focus on swine and/or poultry.
