Lead R&D Engineer

(Selma, AL) Drive strategic direction of R&D of engineering processes. Develop and oversee engineering projects assigned to the R&D team. Develop and execute innovative process, material, or application improvements. Gain and further develop an understanding of the manufacturing capabilities, customers, products, sales programs, competitors, and service needs for our plants. Establish standards for operations within the department. Develop and maintain relationships with sales and sales management of key suppliers for materials sourcing to meet engineering requirements.

Minimum of a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics and three years of experience as an R&D Engineer or related occupation for materials and composite technology required.
