Description
We're hiring a Contracts Specialist to partner closely with the legal and supply management departments and ensure that all contracts and purchases are executed to Steelcase's standards
What you will be doing:
  • Review and execute the contracts management processes to ensure reviews of Agreements, amendments, exhibits, etc. are thorough and executed timely.
  • Administers the contract management process under the direction of their supervisor. - Reviews incoming contract documents review requests for completeness and accuracy - Exhibits a high level of master contracts review and negotiation competency. Is consistent and thorough when negotiating.
  • Work with other stakeholders including risk management, legal, Supply Partners, and various users to ensure exceptions to the standard terms are thoroughly reviewed and approved prior to contract approval.
  • work with Supply Chain Management teams, Legal teams and Supplier's. Contract Administrators must be knowledgeable about the details and benefits of contracts and sourcing strategies as well as potential disadvantages in contract language
  • Will work with internal groups (ex. Legal, PD&L, Marketing) to ensure terms and conditions meet comply with existing and changing Steelcase and Regulatory requirements. Meets with project managers to identify objectives, needs and and issues concerning contracts. Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Requirements:
  • To qualify you must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve problems as well as follow through on assignments with minimum direction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
