Associate Principal, Cell & Gene Therapy Program

In this role, you will serve as the primary lead to manage, expand, and enhance the Vizient Cell and Gene Therapy solutions. You will lead advisory services, network engagement, best practice identification, and support functions for provider, supplier, and payor customers related to the management of high cost, personalized novel pharmaceuticals.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Build credibility and serve as an advisor and pharmaceutical market expert on cell and gene therapy to C-suite and operational teams.
  • Develop policies, strategies, and tactics to achieve the goals of the Vizient Cell and Gene Therapy programs and services by leveraging their understanding of industry trends and the stakeholders' businesses, concerns, successes, and challenges.
  • Leverage professional network to actively recruit members, payors and suppliers through targeted business development activities.
  • Advance and expand the cell and gene therapy program by working closely with current team members to develop, manage and execute strategic initiatives effectively.
  • Cultivate and maintain a unique network of valuable thought leader relationships within the industry.
  • Monitor feedback (e.g., member satisfaction surveys, voice of customer sessions, C-suite feedback) and design strategies for program enhancement to improve stakeholder satisfaction and engagement.
  • Develop new and maintain current relationships with assigned stakeholders (Chief Pharmacy Officers, CFOs, payor leaders, pharmaceutical company leaders).
  • Ensure stakeholders understand where and how to access Cell and Gene Therapy tools, resources, and services.
  • Train others to deliver education for new program and services related to cell and gene therapy.
  • Answer stakeholder questions; respond to escalated questions.
  • Develop and deliver customized quarterly presentations to share metrics, reports, value, and new opportunities; create new quarterly presentation templates and procedures.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise and demonstrate thought leadership through presentations, publications, blogs, and other forums.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including physicians, nurses, hospital quality specialists, executive teams, and management.
  • Proven ability to bring initiatives to successful completion.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $273,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
