Your Job

Koch Capabilities supports many facets of other Koch companies, primarily Flint Hills Resources "FHR" (refineries, pipelines, and terminals) and Koch Ag & Energy Services "KAES" (ammonia plants and terminals). We are currently seeking a Process Safety Engineer to join our team to support the pipelines and terminal assets and operations for both FHR and KAES. What You Will Do

You will partner with key operations, maintenance, and technical support groups to achieve the shared vision for Operational Process Safety through the application of Process Safety standards and industry best practices, management system ownership, and routine interaction and auditing. This role supports multiple day-to-day pipeline and terminal operations throughout the Midwest for Flint Hills Resources (FHR) and Koch Ag and Energy Services (KAES). You could lead risk assessment activities (e.g., PHAs), investigations/learning events, participate in compliance audits, oversee and utilize software systems, and will have ownership over certain Process Safety programs. This role may include aspects of Process Engineering as well. This role has the flexibility to expand as the needs of the organization and the career development of the engineer evolve over time. You should have established communication skills to promote interfacing with a wide variety of personnel (operations, technical, corporate) and external entities. This role is located at any of the "major" hubs for KAES or FHR asset base with Rosemount , MN; Wichita, KS; or Corpus Christi, TX being a strong preference. Travel expectation should be 20-50% of the time.

* Effectively facilitate discussions around complex processes and programs

* Proactively seek gaps/risks and present opportunities to a variety of stakeholders
