Position Summary Perform a variety of technical installation for stage lighting equipment and infrastructure resources for theatre productions, utilize portable entertainment lighting fixtures, control consoles, audio amplifiers, loudspeakers, video projectors, wood, steel, plastics and other materials. Perform on-deck/backstage crew and maintenance responsibilities for department productions. Assist with the modification and implementation of construction for departmental facilities such as theaters, workshops, studios, and office support. Ensure safety of facilities and and equipment and instruct students on safe use of equipment and tools. Perform skilled maintenance, maintain inventory. Run hang, focus and notes for individual productions as required. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $36.900. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
