JOB TITLE: Facilities Maintenance Helper LOCATION: Midland POSITION REPORTS TO: Facility Maintenance Manager SCHEDULE: TBN COMPENSATION: Hourly. Commensurate with skills and past experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform routine exterior and interior inspection, repair and maintenance necessary for the entire facility, including onsite employee housing Perform a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities, e.g. carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, for the purpose of repair and completing projects within established time frames Proactively fix and repair items as identified, and as reported by occupants in employee housing Complete and maintain a quarterly preventative maintenance log Perform weekly safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment and eliminate all hazards Arrange furniture and equipment and provide adequate preparations for special events Perform general grounds keeping on a daily and as-needed basis Respond to emergencies during and after hours and resolve immediate safety concerns Other tasks as assigned by manager REQUIREMENTS Valid driver's license and a good driving record Locals only, must live within 60 miles Applicant must be able to pass all background screenings including MVR and criminal At least 1 year of experience as a maintenance worker in one or more of the basic building maintenance trades Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours, weekend assignments and occasional travel Must be able to operate a forklift and small construction equipment Knowledge and experience using basic power and manual tools effectively Knowledge of general facility maintenance operations and procedures Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects Able to manage frequent periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing ladders and staircases Ability to work in indoor or out-door work environment with exposure to weather extremes Ability to communicate clearly with managers and other personnel Occasional travel will be required PREFERRED HVAC Experience Sun Coast Resources, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
