Job Summary:

The Vice President of Sales and Marketing drives sustainable revenue growth by developing and executing innovative sales strategies that align with the company's vision and objectives. This role leads the sales team to exceed targets, establish best-in-class processes, and ensure operational excellence. As a champion of the company's core values, the VP fosters a culture of integrity, innovation, and accountability. Collaborating with senior leadership, this position defines strategic goals, identifies market opportunities, and builds strong client and vendor relationships that ensure long-term success and competitive advantage. Key Responsibilities: Train, mentor, develop, and motivate the sales team to achieve optimal performance. Establish and communicate clear sales goals, quotas, and performance expectations for sales personnel. Oversee client account assignments to ensure personalized attention and an exceptional customer service experience. Retain top performers and build an innovative sales leadership team while fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment. Ensure accountability for adherence to sales and marketing processes and procedures. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing timely reporting and insights to senior leadership. Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports sales efforts and aligns with company goals and vision. Collaborate with operations management to drive accuracy in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring sound financial projections. Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, continuously researching and communicating market trends to the organization. Partner with procurement to strategically position opportunities during the pre-construction phase of projects. Participate in bid reviews, providing insight into market positioning and identifying risks and opportunities during the proposal process. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with clients and vendors to create a competitive market advantage and improve efficiency. Collaborate with Operations and Pre-Construction teams to ensure competitive pricing, accuracy, and profitability during the bidding stage. Work closely with senior leaders to align efforts with company objectives and support organizational goals.

Qualifications

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Self-motivated and positive, with a proactive and visionary approach to leadership and professional conduct. Must actively promote the company culture and mission to employees, vendors, clients, and business partners. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to give clear oral and written directions. Advanced skills in strategic planning, multitasking, and analytical thinking. Adaptable and resilient, able to lead in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Ability to travel to operational locations as needed. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred. 15+ years of experience in a large organization's sales, marketing, or construction operations. Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
