Purpose of the Role: The Manager, Logistics will lead the strategic and tactical planning of logistics operations within Worley's energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient and sustainable management of logistics across projects and asset services while supporting Worley's commitment to sustainable change. The Manager will optimize logistics processes, ensure compliance with project goals and budgets, and help drive innovation in alignment with Worley's vision to deliver solutions for a more sustainable world. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of logistics strategies to optimize product workflow, minimize costs, and ensure the timely delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Manage vendor selection and negotiation, including establishing strong relationships with suppliers to support the overall project objectives.
- Oversee distribution, transportation, and inventory control activities, ensuring compliance with project/department goals and adherence to approved budgets.
- Support Worley's sustainability goals by implementing innovative logistics solutions that align with our target of deriving 75 percent of revenue from sustainability-related projects.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the logistics team, ensuring they are equipped to meet the demands of projects and exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and project management, to drive efficient logistics processes across the lifecycle of projects, from consulting and engineering to installation and decommissioning.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and increased operational efficiency.
- Ensure the logistics function adheres to Worley's operational standards, functional practices, and sustainability targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Take ownership of managing smaller projects independently or leading segments of larger, complex projects.

Qualifications / Skill Set:
- A university degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or business administration.
- At least ten years of relevant experience in logistics, with a focus on supervisory, project management, and technical roles.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable logistics plans that deliver measurable business results.
- Strong knowledge of vendor management, transportation logistics, inventory control, and distribution practices, with an emphasis on cost optimization and sustainability.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and inspire a logistics team to deliver outstanding performance.
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities with a deep understanding of logistics systems, processes, and tools, and the ability to troubleshoot and improve operational workflows.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present proposals, reports, and logistics strategies to senior management and stakeholders.
- Business acumen, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and apply analytical insights to enhance Worley's logistics operations.
- A commitment to Worley's vision of delivering sustainable change, with the ability to integrate sustainability into logistics management practices.
