Purpose of the Role:
The Logistics Coordinator II is responsible for supporting the efficient movement of materials and equipment to meet the operational needs of Worley and its clients. This role enhances product workflows by developing and implementing logistics plans, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery. The role plays a critical part in Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable solutions, aligning logistical efforts with the company's overall strategy of supporting global energy and resource transitions.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Analyze and develop logistics plans that improve production workflows, inventory management, and distribution processes, maximizing customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials and equipment to ensure safe, timely, and compliant delivery that supports both Worley's and its clients' project objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and optimize logistics procedures, ensuring all logistics activities meet company safety and sustainability standards.
  • Maintain and update tracking systems for distribution and delivery schedules, ensuring transparency and accuracy in inventory management and reporting.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and resolve logistical issues by leveraging experience and analytical skills to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
  • Engage with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure that all deliveries are in line with project timelines and client expectations.
  • Support project teams by providing logistics expertise and technical guidance, enhancing the alignment of logistics strategies with overall project goals.
  • Contribute to the preparation and delivery of reports and presentations, sharing insights on logistics performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that logistics processes and decisions reflect Worley's commitment to safety, sustainability, and innovation in delivering solutions for the energy, chemicals, and resource industries.

Qualifications / Skill Set:



  • A university degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar discipline.
  • Significant experience in logistics coordination, ideally within heavy industrial, energy, or large-scale construction projects, with a strong understanding of inventory and distribution management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex logistics challenges, develop effective solutions, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with logistics systems, tools, and processes, with experience in SAP, Oracle, and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with external suppliers and clients.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and adjusting plans in response to changing project needs.
  • A commitment to safety, compliance, and sustainability, ensuring that all logistical activities adhere to regulatory requirements and support Worley's broader sustainability goals.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using sound judgment and experience to guide logistics operations and make informed decisions.
