The Transload Technician works in all phases of the Trans-Load: Dealing with incoming trucks off loading and outgoing trucks once loaded, paperwork and communication with others.

Core Responsibilities
  • Generates schedule for departing loads to meet shipping schedule.

  • Studies incoming load patterns and volumes for estimating load counts.

  • Arranges and oversees loading and unloading of trailers and trucks.

  • Prepares all paperwork for incoming and outgoing loads.

  • Troubleshoots and expedites operations that delay schedule and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

  • Responsible for complying with all environmental laws and procedures to which Murphy Farms, Inc. subscribes.

  • Reports all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.

  • Reads and understands the company's emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their work site.

  • Completes paperwork upon time of receipt.

  • Enters all information into computer programs.

  • Housekeeping: Keeps office break room and bathrooms clean, neat, and organized, keeps ramp and load area washed and free from debris.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.

  • Ability to speak, write and read in English.

  • Mathematics - Knowledge of basic math and their applications

  • Minimal Skid Steer experience a plus

  • Able to hook and unhook tractor trailer a plus.

  • Verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
