Overall Purpose: The Corporate Strategy team helps develop the Company's long-term strategy to deliver on our vision of "a larger than light, clean energy future for all." Our strategy can be summarized by C.A.R.E.S (Customer Centricity, Affordability, Resilient Culture, Energy of Things, and Strengthening our Core). The team helps deliver our strategic imperatives,the highest priority work needed to achieve our strategy, while balancing organizational capacity for the work that needs to be done today. Our goal is to continue to deliver exceptional results for our customers without putting undue strain on our employees. Job Responsibilities:
Education/Experience Requirements: Applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program and should be interested in pursuing a career in sustainability, environmental science, energy, marketing, communications, business, or economics. Candidates must have completed their sophomore year of studies. Demonstrated strength in writing skills is required. Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Physical Requirements: Work will be conducted in a hybrid environment with some time working remotely, and some time required to be in-office/on-site. Candidates must be within close proximity to Pittsburgh. Other: Applicants must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and social media screen. Hybrid Work: All internships follow our hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Interns must be in the immediate Pittsburgh area for the summer. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs.
