Position Summary

MemorialCare Medical Foundation is looking for an experienced, board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to work per diem at our Ob/Gyn practice on East Spring Street in Long Beach, CA. Must be available to work at least 4 days a week. ***This is a short-term (3-6 months) assignment beginning in November 2024 to cover a leave of absence. There may be future opportunities to cover at other MemorialCare Medical Group clinics.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

Position Information:

* 100% Outpatient

* Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

* Average 15 to 20 patients per day

* Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations

* Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)

* See new OB patients

* Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

* Formulate a differential diagnosis and establish a working diagnosis

* Pay rate: $60-$75/hour

Experience:

* 1+ year of experience in Women's Health or Ob/Gyn as a NP

Qualifications:

* Must have completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

* Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP

* NP Furnishing license

* Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

* Licensed to practice in California

* Current BLS certification

* NPI and DEA

* Board certification in Women's Health (Required)
