Overview: ACARA Solutions, in collaboration with our client in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking an experienced Web Software Developer to join their team. This role involves designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise web applications that enhance data management and information systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a small team to develop and maintain enterprise web applications.
- Utilize web development tools and environments including Django Python Framework, HTML5, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Manage relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server) for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Implement and maintain source control systems, specifically GitLab and Git.
- Address complex technical problems and perform detailed analysis for web application planning, engineering, and design.
- Ensure system administration for hosting and deployment within an enterprise environment, with Active Directory authentication.
- Develop and integrate Restful APIs.
- Incorporate Information Security best practices into design and development processes.
- Provide detailed recommendations for software and technology selection, implementation techniques, and tools to meet both current and future business needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development using Django Python Framework, HTML5, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in relational database administration, particularly with MS SQL Server.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with source control systems such as GitLab and Git.
- Proven ability to tackle complex problems and perform thorough evaluations of diverse factors.
- Experience in system administration for hosting and deployment, including Active Directory authentication.
- Proficiency in Restful API development.
- Strong focus on Information Security in design and development.
- Ability to provide detailed and specific recommendations for software and technology selection and implementation.
