Discover more about phosphate at Nutrien! This is an open posting for Enviornmental Science Students interested in internship positions at our White Springs, Florida Phosphate facility.




  • This is a temporary, full-time, hourly paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.This position is not available for remote work.
  • Work will be both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.Outside the office, standard work wear will consist of hard hats, safety boots, safety glasses and ear plugs, with other items as needed; these items will be provided.



Dates/Terms:



  • Summer Internship

    • May 27, 2025 -August 22, 2025 (End dates may be adjusted to coincide with school terms)





What you will do:



  • Assist the site with various duties, including:

    • Provide support for the Environmental Department including water management, air quality management, GIS, natural resource management, and lake restoration management.
    • Project Work
    • Advancing process related projects
    • Troubleshoot process problems
    • Inspecting chemical processing equipment





What you will bring:



  • Currently enrolled and in an Environmentalor equivalent related program with a graduation date of May 2026or later.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must be able to workoutdoors, and around potentially hazardous chemicals.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
