Support Tech III, Surgery

Cleans and services rooms, removes waste, and performs special projects as assigned. Inventories and restocks supplies on the unit, and obtains supplies and rental units. Provides support to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and caregivers by performing simple patient care activities. Performs various tasks and duties to provide assistance and support in an expanded Support Tech role to the staff in Surgical Services.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Two or more years of experience as a Support Tech. At least one year of experience at Northside. Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) (SPD exempt).
