What you'll do

As the Branch Coordinator for Royal Truck Body (A Shyft Group Brand) based at our brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Charlotte, MI, you will enjoy partnering cross-functionally to facilitate communication across internal departments, maintain positive client relationships, and ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments.

Your day-to-day will involve presenting and selling company products and services through phone, email, and occasional in-person visits. You will also collaborate daily with production teams to meet customer needs, manage outsourced logistics providers, and ensure seamless domestic and international freight operations.

You will also:

  • Present and sell products and services to current and potential clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Assist with ensuring product availability and on-time delivery
  • Generate and send quotes to customers and dealer partners
  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks
  • Process sales orders and credit card payments, and resolve order discrepancies
  • Coordinate parts delivery and work with Material Distribution to support production
  • Manage outsourced 3PL providers and monitor shipment transactions for accuracy
  • Oversee domestic and international freight movements
  • Ensure compliance with import and export regulations
  • Proactively follow up on freight issues and collaborate with 3PL providers to resolve disputes
  • Review and process freight invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Support inventory cycle counts and assist with internal inventory activities
  • Maintain organized filing systems, office supplies, and assist with various projects as needed

What you need to be successful

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 + years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Basic knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) providers and business practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
