Scrum master Chapter lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to foster a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment to deliver value to stakeholders. Each day, you will guide a squad and facilitate collaboration using agile methodologies and moderation skills. You will also showcase your expertise by fostering effective team dynamics, building agile maturity, and helping the squad deliver their best work.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Working with one or two squads in parallel, providing guidance on the application of agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to customers.
* Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of scrum framework and that squads adhere to scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
* Elevating the squad to a high-performing level by identifying areas of strength and improvement, employing targeted coaching, and utilizing effective development techniques.
* Facilitating team-level scrum events, including sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective, ensuring active and comprehensive squad engagement.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor degree (this position is not embedded in the IT environment; we are open for profiles with different backgrounds like psychology, social science, business administration, economics etc.) PLUS 1-5 years of experience as Scrum Master or in a similar
  • Agile role applying Agile principles and practices is an advantage
  • Experience in leading people with the ability to earn trust while challenging the team to improve and operate outside its comfort zone
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $61,900 and $115,100 annually.
