Job Opportunity: Retail Business Manager

Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional with a passion for optimizing business operations and forging strong customer partnerships? We're looking for a Retail Business Manager to be the linchpin between our external sales teams, customers, and cross-functional partners. If you excel in business process management, planning, analysis, and communication, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Business and Process Management



  • Identify and drive improvements in P&L Management, Forecasting, and Supply Chain processes.
  • Manage weekly margin and review critical action items with sales teams.
  • Spearhead customer ideations and private label opportunities.
  • Update departmental SOPs and manage product initiatives and promotions.
  • Handle urgent QA responses and demonstrate proficiency in necessary systems (SAP, AFO, BI, CRM, etc.).
  • Find opportunities to boost bottom line growth and exceed KPIs.


Planning, Analysis, and Communication



  • Own and exceed profitability and volume targets.
  • Lead Price FX management and forecast validation for base and promotional volumes.
  • Coordinate with sales on distressed products and annual budgeting.
  • Manage accrual balances and cross-functional communication for new business alerts and launches.
  • Develop and present customer-specific insights and data.


Reporting and Administration



  • Develop one-page plans with BD/AE, monitor marketing programs, and manage pricing implementation.
  • Oversee new customer setup, pricing, and system compliance.
  • Coordinate samples, manage complaints, and execute quarterly reviews and updates.


Team Collaboration



  • Attend cross-functional meetings and product cuttings.
  • Participate in organizational development and team CFG activities.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and within a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other systems, with skills in pivot tables, V-lookups, and data manipulation.
