*100% Onsite* *Washington, DC* *$20-22/hr* TEKsystems is currently hiring for several Patient Access Representatives with a well-known DC area hospital in their Emergency Department. *Must-Haves:* 2+ years in patient registration or patient access and availability to work occasional weekends and holidays! *Job Description:* * The Patient Access Representative will work within an Emergency Department in DC handling patient registration. * The associate will verify insurance, collect co-pays, room patients, and handle general customer service needs. * Must maintain accuracy and attention to detail while entering patient and insurance information into the EMR. * There are opportunities for full-time on either day or evening shifts. * This is a direct placement/permanent hire opportunity with benefits: healthcare, dental, vision, 401K, etc. *Schedule:* Available shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (days) or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evenings) *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * High School Diploma or GED * 2+ years of experience in healthcare registration or patient access (PSC, PRA, Medical Receptionist, etc) * Ability to use EMR system About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
