Job Summary:
  • Location: Fully on-site (5 days per week) in Warrenton, VA, Fairfax, VA, or Washington, DC
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI required (TS only will not meet requirements)
  • Years of Experience: 1-3+ years of demonstrated system engineering experience using Cameo & MBSE.
  • Education: Technical BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics (or equivalent).
Role: System Engineer I - MBSE, Cameo
  • Primary Focus:
    • Improve IT infrastructure and optimize business operations.
    • Provide strategic direction for integrating information applications and programs.
    • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer technical expertise in modeling and analyzing military systems and their broader architectures.
  • Conduct trade studies and performance assessments to inform customer investment decisions.
  • Apply MBSE to define system functions and develop requirements.
  • Develop architectural views using DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM) and SysML.
  • Analyze MBSE models for mission threads and use cases to support system verification.
  • Suggest cost-saving solutions for IT and business leadership.
  • Ensure system efficiency, security, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Create compliance architecture methods (e.g., data storage, metadata management, change control).
Qualifications:
  • Experience in system engineering using Cameo.
  • Proficiency in DoDAF, SysML, UML modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Expertise in MBSE with Cameo.
  • Familiarity with tools like Rational Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect, MATLAB, STK, AFSIM, Simulink, Model Center (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
  • Hands-on experience with descriptive modeling for system engineering.
  • Preferred experience with DoDAF architecture framework.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
