Yard Laborer/Heavy Equipment Operator

Trojan Recycling is looking for asafetyconscienceYard Laborer/Heavy Equipment Operatorto join our GROWING team in Brockton, MA.

Hiring Immediately!

• Competitive Pay, $21.00- $25.00 dependent on experience.
• Earn quarterly safety incentive bonuses
• Annual boot allowance

Hours: Monday through Friday 6:45am to 4:30pm, Saturdays 6:45am to 12:00pm.

Job responsibilities:

• Manual labor including paper picking, keeping yard clean and presentable.
• Traffic management.
• Perform yard work including cutting weeds.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.
• Operating heavy equipment such as: skid steers, loaders and excavators.
• Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment.
• Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determinesafe and environmentally sound solutions toserviceissues.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• 2A Hoisting License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Ability tolift50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to work outside inall weather conditions.
