Receiving Warehouse Supervisor

Utz Quality Foods is currently seeking a Receiving Supervisor for our Broadway manufacturing

facility located in Hanover, PA. This role is responsible for inventory management of raw materials and finished goods and ensuring optimal flow of the warehouse by leading efforts to receive, unload, and stage raw materials for production. Internal candidates with the ability to obtain and maintain a forklift operator's license, strong verbal and written communication skills along with the interpersonal and management skills necessary to lead others are encouraged to apply. Working knowledge of Microsoft office and previous receiving/shipping experience is preferred but not required. This position will be required to work Monday-Friday 5:30AM-3:30PM and will report directly to the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for inventory counting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
• Determines the amount of raw materials needed for the production schedule and maintains inventory.
• Responsible for coordinating dock appointments for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Oversees all plant receiving transactions in our ERP system.
• Responsible for monitoring and communicating trailer movement requests with logistics.
• Analyzes inventory levels and communicates needs with Purchasing.
• Assists with loading and unloading trailers as necessary.
• Tracks, documents and corrects inventory transaction errors.
• Ensures all personnel follow safety rules and guidelines. Assists with safety training.
• Follows food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System.
• Enters and follows up on work orders as necessary.
• Provides leadership for team members to meet or exceed business goals around Safety, Training, Quality, Production, and Cost.
• Effectively leads warehouse associates by managing staffing levels, covering absences and maintaining work quality.
• Additional duties as assigned by Manager.
