Position Summary The Learning Experience Designer is responsible for crafting cutting-edge digital learning experiences that seamlessly integrate with the company's culture, values, and unwavering dedication to training excellence. This role requires experience with digital tools to enhance synchronous and asynchronous learning for our custom training solutions for all areas of our business including Retail, Corporate, Manufacturing, Guest Services and Logistics. Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Design and create engaging and interactive training modules for eLearning.

  • Design materials for various modalities, embracing the full spectrum of learning environments from virtual classrooms to in-person, instructor-led classes, and online self-paced learning.

  • Create a wide range of learning content such as eLearning modules, interactive presentations, videos, simulations, games, quizzes, and other multimedia elements.

  • Employ the latest learning authoring techniques to deliver effective, inclusive, and user-friendly digital learning experiences using Articulate 360, PowerPoint or other course authoring tools.

  • Create learning assets, modules and content that incorporate any of the following mixed media assets: video animation, voice over narration, photo editing, graphics, learning models, closed captions, audio, video, artificial intelligence components and gamification elements.

  • Capture and edit audio and video content to produce high-quality multimedia elements that enhance the learning experience. Incorporate compelling visuals and clear audio to make complex concepts easy to comprehend.

  • Evaluate and write scripts for training video scenarios, creating story-based videos and concepts, and aid in character development.

  • Design and create engaging and interactive training modules for eLearning.

  • Design materials for various modalities, embracing the full spectrum of learning environments from virtual classrooms to in-person, instructor-led classes, and online self-paced learning.

  • Create a wide range of learning content such as eLearning modules, interactive presentations, videos, simulations, games, quizzes, and other multimedia elements.

  • Employ the latest learning authoring techniques to deliver effective, inclusive, and user-friendly digital learning experiences using Articulate 360, PowerPoint or other course authoring tools.

  • Occasional travel to other Living Spaces locations.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Communications, Marketing, or other related educational field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in post-production software including video, audio, photography, animation (Vyond preferred) or related applications. Proficiency with eLearning authoring software and learning management systems. Articulate Storyline preferred.Strong technical and computer skills that align to modern trends and advancements in the Learning and Development industry.Understanding of basic educational design principles, Instructor-led Training, ADDIE, instructional methodologies, or other adult learning theory methodologies. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, the individual must have proficient knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office 365: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Preferred: Knowledge of other Microsoft applications such as Teams and SharePoint, Desktop publishing software including Adobe Creative Cloud.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation: $73,200.00 - $97,600.00

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
