Job Title: Litigation Paralegal Duration: 9-10 Months Contract + Possibility of Extension/FTE Location: Atlanta, GA 30354 Pay Rate: $36.00 - $40.86 hourly JOB SUMMARY In-office requirements: 2 days a week in the office but for training the first 2-3 weeks it will be more Travel: 10% if any Position overview Independently manage warranty and lemon law litigation matters and assist with pre-litigation matters as needed. Evaluate and determine settlement potential. Research, analyze and evaluate evidence for lawsuits, interact with third parties, negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and participate in dispute resolution. Roles & responsibilities Primary responsibilities:
o Including opening new cases, managing discovery with counsel, create settlement strategies
o Negotiate settlements with insurance companies on subrogation claims o Manage all inquiries from state agencies overseeing arbitration regulations and consumer protection laws o Evaluate arbitration claims to determine proper settlement decisions based on state lemon law.
