None POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Typical Pay Range: $150,000 to $190,000 per year Position Overview The Program Manager will lead and oversee the full scope of facilities operations, building maintenance, repairs, and minor alterations and construction services at the Forrestal and Germantown campuses, the Department of Energy's (DOE) headquarters. This role is critical in ensuring the effective execution of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Facilities Management and Maintenance Services. The Program Manager will play a key role in maintaining and elevating the operational standards of these vital DOE facilities, which support thousands of personnel, including the department's leadership. This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) The Program Manager will ensure that all operational, maintenance, and repair services are conducted in line with DOE standards, balancing resource allocation, scheduling, and regulatory compliance. The role demands coordination with DOE management and other key stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure that the campuses run efficiently and all contractual obligations are met. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications Candidates should possess at least five years of supervisory experience in managing large, complex facilities similar in scale to the Forrestal and Germantown campuses. Additionally, a minimum of five years of technical and managerial experience in facilities maintenance and operations is required. The Program Manager must be adept at decision-making, ensuring contract compliance and maintaining seamless operations across both campuses.
