Job Title: Program Manager - Tech - Sr

Location(s): Richmond, VA or Mclean, VA

Candidates for this role will have demonstrated that they can manage large-scale, complex programs in the past, delivering results. This individual must be able to effectively communicate with and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and managing the end-to-end delivery of a variety of large-scale programs simultaneously in a complex dynamic environment, working with partners and stakeholders to deliver efficient, clear, standardized, targeted, and effective user engagement tactics to drive the behavioral change needed to meet business objectives
  • Quickly putting structure in place around planned initiatives and revising needs to meet changing requirements
  • Proactively keeping manager, team, and stakeholders informed through consistent qualitative and quantitative reporting and socialization frameworks and timelines
  • Owning the timely delivery of key milestones and initiatives and providing strategic direction to partners, peers, and direct reports
  • Developing deep understanding of the strategic intent of the work, effectively identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and resolving challenges across teams in order to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
  • Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and validating efficacy with qualitative and quantitative metrics
  • Building relationships and collaborating cross-functionally with partners and senior leaders to provide strategic and tactical change management expertise to more effectively meet business objectives
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of project and process management associates
  • Influencing the roadmaps of internal products and tools that can accelerate or expand delivery of team goals, like adding capabilities or reducing friction for our partners and users
  • Measuring the effectiveness of results delivered and develop insights from metrics and research to inform our team's perspective and validate or evolve best practices
  • Creating persuasive communications clearly representing complex subject matter to influence and inform decision makers
  • Openly and actively contribute as a member/partner to the broader Delivery Experience and Enterprise Platform Tech organizations
  • Keep current on the business' strategic goals, performance, and audiences in order to develop and implement effective change management campaigns



Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years of program management experience
  • At least 2 years of people management experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree/MBA
  • 8+ years of project management or change management experience
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
  • Experience managing projects in JIRA
