Full-time 40 hours. Overseeing a busy acute care, teaching hospital Inpatient PT and OT program that runs seven days a week, and 12 hours a day. Hours are flexible in accordance with need of position. The primary responsibilities of the Inpatient Manager of Inpatient Services is to assist the Director in the optimal operation of the Inpatient Department while providing the highest quality of care for our Physical, and Occupational Therapy Patients. The Inpatient Manager provides daily to the complex systems of the Inpatient Department., which impacts treatment, scheduling, patient throughput and financial reimbursement. The Manager provides staffing assignment of patients for both physical and occupational patients as well as from the medical and surgical floors. This critical management supports the Rehabilitation Services Department's daily ability to reach its annual financial goals and objectives. To achieve these goals the Manager must take time to work closely with and for these staff encouraging them to speak about concerns. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
