Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Trades Supervisor, the Carpenter position duties include but are not limited to: maintenance, repair, installation and alteration of walls, doors, flooring and wall finishes, including all aspects of rough and finish carpentry within our Facilities Operation. Responsibilities: Constructs, erects, installs, or repairs structures and fixtures made of wood and all other substitute materials including partitions, joists, studding, and rafters; wood stairways, window and doorframes, floor coverings, and acoustical ceilings to ensure adequate, safe and operable institutional facilities.

Education: Preferred Qualifications: Required: Completion of a registered apprenticeship program approved by the Department of Workforce Development as a Carpenter, as defined on DWD website - https://dwd.wisconsin.gov/apprenticeship/occupations/carpenter.htm License/Certification: Required Work Schedule: Flexible start time: primary schedule is Monday - Friday with hours between 8:00am and 5:30pm. Schedule will be determined upon hire.
