Location:Lee Health Corporate Center -4211 Metro ParkwayFort Myers FL 33916 Department: Nurse Staffing Office Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 4:00:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$18.64 - $23.30 / hour SummaryFunctions as the data specialist for the Staffing Resource Center, providing support via collection, verification and interpretation of data from various sources to improve the reliability and efficacy of staffing functions. Using strong analytical skills as well as multiple systems/databases (Kronos, Epic, Infor and all Microsoft Office products), responsible for accurately and timely data entry/analysis of critical information, ensuring data integrity and allowing for smooth SRC decision-making and operations. Expected to proactively notify SRC leadership of changing trends or patterns in data to ensure timely actions. Position will promote efficient scheduling practices within the SRC by accurately forecasting scheduling needs, analyzing trends, and translating that to the overall scheduling process. Specialist will also act as the SRC department website master, ensuring excellent digital communication between the SRC office staff and float pool personnel. Also functions as a training back up for float pool staff regarding timekeeping/scheduling functions in Kronos. Requirements Educational Requirements
College course work in business or healthcare required Experience Requirements
2 years of office environment experience with computer efficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required. Experience working in a health care setting, particularly clinical/acute care preferred. Presentation/training experience preferred. State of Florida Licensure Requirements
Other Requirements Reporting skills: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and computer literacy skills in database maintenance activities. Able to learn other computer programs easily and utilizes such programs on a daily basis. Experienced in report creation, analysis and information presentation. Critical thinking skills: Utilizes analytical skills and strategies to increase desired performance results. Maximizes resources and anticipates outcome. Must be goal and performance driven with strong decisive work ethic. Actively applies, analyzes and evaluates information generated by various tracking to improve procedures and/or processes.
