CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Sprinkler Fitter to join our CHA Fire - Florida Fire Protection Services Team. This position will require travel to all current and future jobs in the state of Flordia such as Tampa, FL.



YOUR IMPACT

CHA offers highly specialized fire protection engineering services and cutting-edge solutions to address the most challenging fire risks. Our approach involves adapting strategies and solutions to meet the ever-changing demands of buildings and the environment, while promoting safety and efficiency.

The Sprinkler Fitter is responsible for the complete installation of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings according to standards. This individual will:

    Assemble and install a variety of metal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper
  • Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment such as pumps and tanks.
  • Interpret work specifications and fire codes
  • Test systems for leaks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • OSHA 30 Training required or must obtain within 30 days of employment
  • No industry experience is required
  • Ability to read blueprints and redline fab drawings (preferred)
  • Ability to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as working within ducts, crawl spaces, climbing a ladder, outside in the heat or cold, on lift equipment, or dirty environments
  • Ability to work at heights in a man lift and lift 50+ pounds above head
  • Must have excellent communication skills and positive customer service attitude
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Must be willing to travel


SALARY RANGE:

$40,000 - $47,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
