Position: Project Designer

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Our architects are driven by a pursuit of design excellence that improves the built environment. We value curiosity, creativity, collaboration, respect for others and a passion for design - qualities that inspire our architects to develop thoughtful solutions for our clients. Our Architecture Group includes nearly 50 distinguished architects and interior designers. Our collaborative design approach brings to light creative solutions to complex challenges, while balancing social, environmental, and economic realities. We orchestrate the design process from start to finish with a full range of services, from programming and concept design, through architecture, interior design, and construction administration services.

Responsibilities:

DESIGN EXCELLENCE

    • Collaborate with other designers to elevate design solutions across projects
    • Show a passion for design and commitment to achieving design excellence
    • Develop design content that continually raises the bar and exceeds client expectations
    • Communicate design concepts clearly and effectively, both verbally and graphically

INSPIRE AND INFLUENCE

    • Reinforce a high standard for design quality with the full project team
    • Leverage personal talents to contribute meaningfully to an interactive design process

FACILITATE COLLABORATION

    • Collaborate with complementary design disciplines, such as Interiors, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, etc.
    • Thrive in a fast-paced team environment
    • Exhibit abilities in problem solving, critical thinking and creativity
    • Facilitate project charrettes, design pinups and project reviews
    • Review projects regularly with the Design Director

ENCOURAGE INNOVATION

    • Possess a willingness to challenge the status quo and promote innovative solutions

    • Promote exploration of new processes and technology

GROW THE BUSINESS

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree or higher in Architecture with at least 4+ years of architectural or related experience
    • Ability to work in various market sectors - Corporate + Commercial, Government, Judicial, Healthcare, Higher Education, Municipal, Industrial, and/or Sports + Entertainment
    • Present a portfolio of innovative design solutions with an emphasis on built work
  • Experience in developing design concepts that meet or exceed a client's needs
  • Proficiency in SketchUp and Revit
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Enscape and Lumion
  • Registered Architect preferred
  • LEED accredited preferred
