Job Description

Develop and implement informational and supportive services for the University community and external colleagues. Analyze and effect change to improve quality of initiatives.

Develop and monitor budgets and budget forecasts for programs.

Develop policies and procedures to ensure consistency in programs/services.

Develop strategic partnerships with internal and external entities to promote good relations and the safety of the participating students and faculty

Develop and conduct training programs and workshops oriented toward specific programs, projects and issues for various internal and external groups/organizations.

Coordinate activities and visits for visiting international partners.

Interpret University guidelines and advise and/or direct students, student groups and/or associations on policies, procedures, and the alternatives available within the administrative framework of the University.

Work with student marketing team members and their activities to insure compliance with University regulations.

Prepare correspondence and reports related regarding the programs, projects and related activities. Manage contracts and agreements with vendors and partners.

Plan, assign and review the work of staff in the maintenance of various webpages, promotional materials, departmental records and correspondence.

Consult on research on program opportunities and the preparation of informational publications directed toward students, faculty, parents and external colleagues.

Interview and recommend the employment support staff, students and graduate assistants.

Serve on internal and/or external committees and as a representative of the department to form partnerships, give/receive information, and coordinate activities and information. May chair internal committees and conduct meetings.

Shift

Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm, and other evenings and weekends as is required.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

A Master's degree in Student Personnel, Counseling or a related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary. (Some applications of this classification may require a professional degree in lieu of the Master's indicated above.)

Four year of progressively more responsible work experience involving student programming at the administration level and a successful track record in the development of student programs from conception through implementation is necessary.

Study abroad experience and/or international education preferred

Anticipated Hiring Range

$55,000 - $60,000
