Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Hybrid with our client in Littleton, CO. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Looking for an experienced Program Planner to join our mission supporting our Commercial Civil Space (CCS) line of business.
  • Partner with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions.
  • Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules, which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources needed to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy.
  • Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts.
  • Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused.
  • Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response.
  • Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the program planning integrator.
  • Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.
  • Devices modelling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline and to perform schedule risk assessments.
  • Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in planning/scheduling
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Earned Value Management
  • Must have Past Lockheed Martin Space Experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Server, Open Plan, Acumen, and One Pager Pro
  • Ability to perform critical path and risk analyses
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates a willingness to adjust to changing priorities
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of a spacecraft/satellite program
  • Understanding of the Program Performance Management Process
  • Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule
  • Prior team lead experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
  • Strong sense of follow-up and closure with attention to detail
  • Self-starter able to operate with minimal guidance
  • Desire and willingness to support dynamic proposal activities
  • Strong influencing and relationship management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve challenges arising in dynamic situations
  • Makes sound decisions quickly and efficiently, even with limited information or under time constraints.
