Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Mid Career Systems Engineer to facilitate the government customer's management of a large High Performance Computing (HPC) related program. This program is on the cutting edge and includes everything from HPC test planning and execution, architecture design and prototyping, and vendor outreach and collaboration support. Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies, high performance computing, and enterprise architecture. The program is tactically important to the national security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results and the Program Integrator will be directly involved in ensuring the government is successful in achieving their planned objectives of this growing, high-profile program.

The Mid-Career Systems Engineer will provide systems engineering support for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of all components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management, as well as end-to-end flow analysis. There are multiple positions, some of whom would be ideal for individuals with SCRUM coaching experience, other roles are ideal for individuals with experience developing DODAF artifacts, and others would be ideal for individuals with experience with chip design or manufacturing processes.



Qualifications

    Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
    • Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience, OR
    • A Master's degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems engineering experience, OR
    • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Experience in one of these three areas would be a significant plus (but not required):
    • SCRUM Coaching, OR
    • Creating DODAF Artifacts, OR
    • Experience with chip design or manufacturing processes.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
