The University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL) College of Education invites qualified professionals to apply for one of two full- time, benefits-eligible, tenure track faculty positions in Counselor Education. Counseling Program in the College of Education The Counseling Program is located within the College of Education, whose mission statement reads: "We advance educational knowledge and practice. We partner with communities. We promote diversity, equity, and excellence." The Counseling Programs further this mission by preparing school counselors, clinical mental health counselors, and counselor educators to serve the mental health needs of culturally diverse individuals, groups, couples, and families. The Program's outreach extends to schools, colleges and universities, community based organizations, business and industry, as well as independent practice.
