ChampionX has an immediate need in our Unbridled Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) Business for a CNC Machinist located in Broken Arrow, OK. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.

What You Will Do:

  • Second shift is generally Monday-Friday and starts between 3:00-4:00 pm and may be 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on workload

  • Operate a CNC machine in the production process by selecting and installing appropriate tooling and adhering to drawing dimensions

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of supplies and manufactured products

  • Maintain and repair machine as needed

  • Document required quality checks and maintenance records according to current standards

  • Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations

  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

  • High School education or equivalent

  • Two (2) years prior experience operating a CNC Machine

  • Ability to read, understand and verify blueprints

  • Ability to setup a CNC machine and identify machining operations required

  • Read, write, and speak English fluently

  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role

  • Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior ESP or Oil and Gas experience or in a manufacturing or assembly environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

  • Requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection

  • May stand, walk, stoop, sit, bend, twist, grasp, lift and climb

  • Requires visual and hearing acuity

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily occurs in a heated and air-conditioned manufacturing environment

  • Hazards include proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals

  • Atmospheric conditions that affect the respiratory system or skin may include fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation

  • Potential skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids

  • Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required
