JOB TITLE: Fleet Administrator

LOCATION: Houston

POSITION REPORTS TO: Fleet Administrative Manager

SCHEDULE: Hourly. Entry level. Monday through Friday. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some overtime and weekends may be required.

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with skills and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assist in maintaining current and accurate title and registration information
  • Create repair orders in SAP and issue purchase order numbers
  • Invoice coding and processing of monthly payables with accuracy
  • Maintain fleet maintenance records
  • Respond to emails, answer phones, file documents, data entry, maintain reports
  • Research and resolve problems
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager

BASIC REQUIREMENTS



  • Must be local
  • Minimum 2 years of clerical or administrative experience working in an office environment
  • Valid driver's license (must be able to pass background and MVR)
  • Problem Solving/Analysis
  • Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy-duty automotive and truck equipment experience
  • Ability to effectively prioritize daily tasks and be able to work on multiple tasks within timeline constraints as required
  • Attention to detail is a must along with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word programs
  • Work proficiently with the ability to self-start in a fast paced environment
  • Stable employment history
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Energetic and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic


PREFERRED



  • Minimum of 1 year SAP experience
  • Experience using VMRS (Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards)
  • Experience in the transportation industry
  • Experience with DOT compliance
