Sales Director - Traditional Investment Funds

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members to join our Relationship Management and Client Service team. As a Sales Director, you will take personal ownership over the sales, lead generation, and providing input as to the future direction of our business in this market. You must have exemplary client-facing communication skills, a focused attention to detail, and enthusiasm for serving as an integral member of our sales team.

What you will do:

You will execute on assigned marketing and sales plans.

You will identify, qualify and pursue new business prospects.

You will generate proposals and quotes, while working with internal and external counterparts to close sales.

You will build and maintain credible relationships with prospects, clients and industry "Centers of Influence".

You will develop and support sales presentation and design, along with creating and managing the sales pipeline.

You will analyze the sales territory and provide a strategic plan.

You will coordinate and manage the RFP process.

You will maintain contact with all firms in territory to uncover new opportunities. You will participate in regular team sales meetings and trainings.

You will maintain and demonstrate understanding and knowledge of prospect's business needs and SEI's
services and solutions.

What we need from you:

B.S. /B.A. in Finance, Marketing or related field.

5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry.

Knowledge of investment management operations.

Experience in managing sales process from lead generation to relationship management is a plus.

Experience with Miller Heiman strategic selling process a plus.

Adaptable to manage fast-paced, challenging sales environment

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Internet skills.

Extensive travel is required.

Compensation:

The base salary pay for this role is $125,000 - $175,000 per year. This position will also be eligible to earn a discretionary sales compensation bonus each year, subject to company approval.
