Our culture is at the heart of our success, and we are looking for talented individuals for the position of Senior External Reporting Accountant to bring their skills and experience to the table while enriching our already strong culture.

What you will do

* Prepares and/or checks various regulatory compliance reports including: FERC Form 1 and Form 3-Q; SEC Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Form 11-K, and Form 8-K, including iXBRL tagging; bank compliance financials and annual accompanying footnotes; and various financial datasets for parent company, including ESG datasets. Ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP, FERC guidelines, and SEC requirements.

* Prepares and/or checks multi-level consolidating financial statements (income statement, indirect cash flow statement, balance sheet, and stockholders' equity), ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, FERC guidelines, and SEC requirements.

* Assists in drafting and/or updating footnotes and other required disclosures for quarterly and annual filings with the SEC and FERC, among others.

* As part of a team, leads quarterly reporting projects that are submitted to and/or used for presentation to executive management.

* Assists in monitoring, identifying, and adopting new requirements of regulatory rule-making bodies such as FASB, SEC, and FERC, among others. Works autonomously or as part of a team to research and thoroughly document findings. Ensures timely notification of requirements to Controller's Area and management and implements procedures to comply with new requirements.

* Designs training materials and provides training to others in a group setting or on an individual basis.

What you bring



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 24 units of accounting from an accredited institution.
  • 4 years of related experience.



Pay Rate: Salary determined based on candidate's experience & qualifications.
