Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network / System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Leads and/or participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering activities involving cross-functional technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities Responsible for components of highly complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities Establish input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility, coordination of subsystems design, and integration of total system View as a technology subject matter expert Provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and/or vendors Responsible for multiple, complex projects Lead the resolution process for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results Support role working with the IBM WebSphere/Weblogic, Jboss, and Tomcat App and web servers Requirements: Strong experience in installing and configuring WAS in a multi instance environment (all flavors of UNIX platform and Windows) Experience of WAS clustering Familiar with building servers, installing software, deployments of Wars, EAR's and ongoing support Ability to install and troubleshoot Self-managed proven ability to identify circumstances and changes which may impact deliverables Skill/experience needed: extensive WebSphere administration; WebSphere application server v 7.X/8.X/9.X; IBM HTTP Server; WebSphere Security & SSL; Platform: AIX, Red Hat Linux, Solaris Strong knowledge of: Web Servers, Web Server load balancing (GTM/LTM), J2EE (Java, JSP's, Servlet, EJB, JMS, MQ etc.), and RHEL 6 - 8 Well versed in diagnosing out-of-memory, Thread Hung, Connection timeout issues as well as tuning the heaps Experience with the IBM Client,TOMCAT, JBOSS and/or Apache web servers Experience with administering WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (ND) 7.x and 8.x/9.X Experience with wsadmin script execution (Jacl or Jython) Experience with WAS ND Installation and application deployment J2EE Framework knowledge Experience with SSL Certificate management Desired skills: Experience with Introscope/AppDynamics/Sitescope Monitoring tool. Scripting experience Software Developer experience Understanding of PMM/DSES processes and required outputs Oracle Cloud AWS solution experience Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
