Position Summary The Assistant Director, Student Activities & Alumni Engagement will be responsible for serving as primary contact for student groups and faculty advisors; conceptualizing planning and coordinating student group and alumni events inclusive of projecting staff and space needs, monitoring logistics for events, and attending events to ensure quality and objectives are met; organizing communication strategies with students and alumni to maximize event attendance and participation in school programming managing unit operating budgets, reimbursements, preparing expense forecasts, and monitoring as well as approving expenditures against budgets; and supervising student workers Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $80,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
