Job Description:

The School District of Milton is looking for an enthusiastic Long-term Substitute Speech and Language Pathologist at Milton East Elementary. This assignment is expected to run from approximately November 20, 2024, through March 14, 2025. Qualifications:

The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will engage students in the learning process. Candidates should be organized, flexible, have strong communication skills, and the ability to integrate speech and language services in both direct and indirect settings. The successful candidate will be able to: demonstrate knowledge and skills regarding assessment of speech and language disabilities, use effective instructional techniques, learning strategies, positive behavioral interventions, and best practice, including assistive and augmentative technologies for students with speech and language disabilities; work collaboratively with colleagues as a positive and substantial contributor to the school and district; collect and maintain progress monitoring data; assume a leadership role in the implementation of district initiatives and special education service delivery.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in Speech and Language Pathology - 1820.
