Position Title: Packaging Technician Wage: $16.00 - $16.50/hour Shift: Days or Nights Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Monday - Wednesday), 6:00am - 11:00am (Thursday) OR 12:00am - 6:00am (Sunday), 6:00pm - 6:00am (Monday - Wednesday) Are you an animal lover? Packaging Technician Responsibilities: - Package products into plastic pails or boxes, then consolidate into cartons, seal and palletize - Cap plastic bottles manually, apply labels or slip sleeves and palletize cases - Remove blocks from trays, weigh cases using a scale and palletize - Utilize a hand labeler to manually label boxes or bags Requirements for Packaging Technician: - Able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion - Good manual dexterity - Able to sit, stand, reach and bend during the shift, up to 12 hours - Able to work twelve-hour shifts, up to five days per week (if working overtime) QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
